If you don’t know the Lancaster County Food Hub, I am glad to introduce you! The Food Hub feeds, clothes and shelters our neighbors in need in Lancaster, PA. They are located downtown on North Queen street and make a huge difference in the lives of so many. They are one of my web design clients where years back I had the joy of redesigning their website and now I get to support them through edits to their website and also design for various needs they have throughout the year.
This Spring, they are holding their Annual Spring Breakfast at the Ware Center on May 10 and I was able to support them through creating the invitations, envelopes and full web page where they can promote ticket sales and sponsorships for the event. 2023 Annual Spring Breakfast Invitations
The invitations for this event requested my advice on size and shape so I recommend going with the traditional A2 invitation-sized folded card (which is 4.25″ x 5.5″) and matching envelope (which measures 4.375″ x 5.75″). They had the theme of Onward and allowed me to creatively express it. I pulled a font to match their brand tagline of serving with faith and compassion for the large Onward font. The invitation included all of the necessary info for attending, buying tickets and becoming a sponsor of the event along with a QR code to direct invitees to register.
Event Website
Having a website for an event is such an asset – it’s somewhere you can direct people from your social media posts, newsletters, and more. For this event, I created a website with elegant scrolling animations that helps their cause of inviting people and getting them quick access to buy tickets and become sponsors.
