Graphic Design, Web Design & Social Media Design for Milagro House’s Evening of Miracles
Milagro House just held their 2023 Evening of Miracles which is the largest fundraising event of their year I had the honor of being their sole designer for all elements used to raise sponsors, invite donors to attend, and spread the word online. Milagro House is one of my VIP Contract Clients this year – which is an offering I have where an organization can sign on for a year-long agreement with me and I’ll handle everything they need designed along with whatever marketing or website support they desire. For Milagro House, that means all website needs (you can see the website I built and we launched earlier this year here) and all graphic design support throughout the year.
It’s such an ideal situation because having one sole professional designer in charge of all media that goes out regarding important events and campaigns like this comes across as strongly branded in all elements. Every time someone comes across their media for the Evening of Miracles – it is easily recognizable and more than that it’s attractive and professional – clearly displaying Milagro House’s expertise in helping women & children facing homelessness to thrive through education and beyond! It’s a smart move for them and an honor for me knowing their event and the fundraising it went towards can be all the more successful because of the marketing caliber I bring to their materials.
This event consisted of an Invitation design and matching envelope, a web page and website designs, a sponsorship packet, social media graphics, and more. Read on to see the beautiful pieces and learn how something like this can support your next event!
2023 Design Theme, 25 Year Logo and Sponsorship Packet
First in a fundraising event like this is coming up with the look and feel for the event’s design and building a sponsorship packet so the nonprofit can have something beautiful to reach out to potential sponsors to secure the funding to host the event. Each year I build a custom design theme for Milagro House’s Evening of Miracles that feels new, exciting, and authentic to them and their brand. This year it featured floral elements with a rainbow of their brand colors, deep purple backdrops to elicit elegance, and script font complimentary to their brand that can be used on all print and their web materials. And as always what makes Milagro House’s pieces extra special are the real photos of their women and children. Along with a theme design, Milagro House also was looking for a special 25-year logo they could use throughout the event and year to share the milestone in their organization. Below you can see a preview of the sponsorship packet designed and used in this year’s fundraising for the event and the 25 year logo featured throughout the designs.
2023 Evening of Miracles Invitation and Envelope Design
After having the theme created and implemented in one piece, it’s a smoother process to move on to the other elements. Next up were the invitations so they could go out to spread the word about the event and ticket registration. There were a few iterations and even card shapes and designs before landing on the final. The final was a three-fold beautiful 5″ x 7″ design with a lovely matching envelope with a rainbow floral design (unpictured).

Next, I created a full web page to correspond to and promote the event on the Milagro House website. What is unique and beneficial about working with me, is I can streamline designs from print to digital, to web without any middleman. So for this event, I could go ahead and create a digital invitation so to speak along with a sponsorship section all of which matched the design theme for the year. I created some custom floral backgrounds and weaved the same colors, fonts and elements throughout. Being their website master, I also updated the homepage to have a small feature right below the hero section with the basic details and a link to the page so all visitors would be aware of the upcoming event.
2023 Evenings of Miracles Social Media Assets, Marketing Materials & Slides for the Evening
This year I also helped to create a small mix of designs Milagro House could use in their social media at any point leading up to the event to promote tickets and attendance. (Unpictured) I also created a spattering of designs that they could implement in their ticket website and e-mails so everything matched the theme and recognition of the event which leads to brand & purchasing trust for all visitors. For the evening of the event, I created several slides they could rotate welcoming attendees, thanking sponsors, and promoting the evening’s fundraising challenge gift. 2023 Evenings of Miracles Success!
This year’s Evening of Miracles was a HUGE success and I’m so grateful to have played a tiny part in supporting their efforts to raise money to literally change the lives of women and children facing homelessness. That night they raised over $168,000 to support Milagro House programming and they raised $149,000 in generous sponsorships leading up to the event – reaching an all time high for their Evening of Miracles they said!
