Milagro House 2022 Invitation & Event Designs

For their largest fundraiser in 2022, Milagro House planned to hold a gala-like event with a well-known author and speaker.  Milagro House is a nonprofit in Lancaster, PA that supports women with children facing homelessness earn degrees and thrive on their own and the author thy invited to come to Lancaster was Stephanie Land who wrote the book Maid which the Netflix series is based on – a woman whose story shared many similarities to the women of Milagro House. With such a large event planned and a big-name speaker, Milagro House needed designs that would suit their efforts to fill the venue and get sponsors to back the costs.

2022 Evening of Miracles Digital Sponsorship Packet Design

When it comes to acquiring sponsors, marketing and design make a huge difference. The Sponsorship Packet is one of the first designs to be created for large gala events like this because it’s sent to sponsors prior to announcing the event to the community at large. That means whatever design is created will be the groundwork for the theme of every other piece of marketing and media supporting the event. This year’s sponsorship packet featured highlights of the event and the author along with various sponsorship levels and gifts that go along with each. Milagro House hosts an evening of miracles every year, but this year was extra special as they brought in a speaker and were looking for a premier venue. That meant that these designs needed to match the caliber and eloquence of the evening to attract donors by looking and feeling professional, legitimate, and fresh. To make this year stand out, I added a feature color of the vibrant yellow that played well with Milagro House’s brand but made each Evening of Miracle marketing piece stand out and feel fresh, exciting and modern.

2022 Evening of Miracles Invitation and Envelope Design

Now that the theme design was set with the colors and vibrant rings around several elements, I was able to run with the invitation design. I laid each element from Milagro House in layouts that created a striking look and feel while catching the recipient’s eye to want to read and hopefully attend the exciting event. What was fun was by the time of the invitation, Milagro House had secured several sponsors and the Fulton Theatre to host the event and they were able to share that. Each invitation included a QR code to directly buy tickets as well as a matching envelope to elevate the mailing of these envelopes above others.

2022 Evenings of Miracles Social Media Assets, Marketing Materials & Slide Backgrounds

To support the marketing efforts of the event, I helped Milagro House by creating several assets – a handful of social media images for posts, marketing materials they could print as flyers and postcards to deliver to local businesses with QR codes to buy tickets and slide backgrounds for them to use the night of with their own text and information. Along with these, I helped create some event-specific logos they could add too swag and products they bought for he audience that evening.

Being such a special night with a special host speaker, Milagro House had a professional program designed as well. One of the last elements of the year that would be printed, I made sure it utilized all of the beautiful and vibrant features of the year’s designs. The bright yellow, the vibrant circles, the style of the logo, the block banners, and elegant fonts. The timing of the event was also right before the ExtraGive which is a huge fundraiser in Lancaster, PA, so I designed a page for them where attendees could go to learn more and give during that event.
