Full website redesign from scratch to create a website that represents the strength of their practice.
Early in 2022, I had the privilege of redesigning the Dermatology Associates of Lancaster’s (DAL) logo and brand to elevate their look to match the strength and elegance of their practice today. DAL has been in practice for nearly 50 years and become known for the quality of their care. Not only did it make sense for them to have a brand that supports the strength of who they are to the Lancaster, PA community, but their website also needed to be a home online that can support new and current patients seeking out what they have to offer.
The DAL Website Redesign Beginning
When DAL came to me for their website redesign, they were hosted on a third-party medical website design platform that was cookie-cutter for any practice. Initially, this may have served DAL’s needs. But when I entered, their website looked outdated and there were several links and elements that were broken due to the platform’s stiff and uneditable structure.
A full website redeisgn was exactly what would serve DAL best. I was able to create for them a website from scratch that had everything a user would need and could be completely editable so it can not only represent them strongly today, but change as they change and website design trends and needs change.
The DAL Website Redesign Process
It is important to me to make the process as streamlined as possible so users can access DAL information as needed as the website was being built. First, I helped create the construction area through guiding them to a new host that I recommend which has all of the abilities to not only securely host their new and construction websites, but also support any backups and fix any issues that come arise (so important so a website is supported and not caught down or broken!) Once that construction site was ready, I went to work building every page, menu, and element you see on their new website.

If you’ve never heard of Storybrand before, it is the greatest marketing method for engaging audiences and it is what I make sure every website and marketing piece is built by. With a redesign, I am often given a good pool of content to learn about the organization from their previous or live current website. With all of that content, I rewrote and reorganized all aspects along with adding engaging calls to action and SEO (Search Engine Optimization) best practices to build a website that actually works to serve the clients that visit so they can easily find what they are looking for, clearly understand what DAL offers and most importantly create clear pathways for them to engage with DAL in the ways their practice hopes for.
