I enjoy making this in the middle of a hot day when I want ice cream, but don’t want to blow the calories or nutrition on a dessert.  It tastes like decadent ice cream, feels like the real deal, and cools you off in a heart beat.  Only warning I have?  You must love bananas!  Ok, what is it and how do you make already?!

Place one banana frozen in chunks into a food processor whirl it around for 3-5minutes and eat!

Sounds too good to be true right?  Well, it really is that easy, bananas whipped become creamy and airy and delicious.  If the bananas are super frozen, take little pauses for them to soften and then turn on the processor until very smooth and slightly fluffy.  Also, try to mix it up!  I sometimes add a frozen berry or two, a splash of milk or soy milk and top it with nuts.  Peanuts or pecans on bananas are delicious and flaxseed is a great addition to any flavor you create!

Here is a pic from the one I just made with 1 frozen banana, 1 frozen strawberry, and a splash of soy milk topped with ground flaxseed (add flaxseed to anything and I feel it’s just rockets up the chart of healthiness!).  I also love having a small food processor for this – it’s simply less clean up and easy to maneuver.

Hope you love this cool treat as much as me!  Experiment and pass on the delicious idea.
