Full website design from scratch to create a website that beautifully represents Milagro House’s mission and work of changing lives.
Milagro House has been a client of mine for nearly a decade – one that I have had the joy of supporting through exceptional design in their print and digital work that supports their yearly fundraisers, galas, and more. This year I had the joy of crafting a website that reveals the incredible work that they do – a website that is modern, robust, beautiful, and optimized for user experience and conversion rates to further the good work they do!
The Milagro House Website Design Beginning
Before I built them a website, they had a block-style website that can be edited minimally. It looked dated and was hard to get edits made by the company that built it. I copied all of their content so I knew what they originally had and then got to work creating a brand new website that is endlessly dynamic – something they can continually grow into.
The Milagro House Website Design Process
Milagro House has a beautiful brand that I loved working in. I set up their site to have the branded fonts and colors and create page layouts that optimize a user’s experience – whether they are a donor, first-time visitor, or prospective new Milagro House applicant. I built out each page and created menus, footers and sticky menus on long pages that help a user to navigate with ease no matter where they are. I fleshed out the website completely and when it was ready for review, passed it to Milagro House who went page by page and sent edits that I worked through. We refined each page until it was exceptional and had just what was desired to guide readers to where they needed to go and learn what they came to learn.
Website Copy that Works to Engage
What is beneficial about inviting me to build your site it that an organization not only gets expert professional design and the latest in website trends, they get optimized text copy and layout that is proven to engage users. I am deeply well versed in Storybrand and build all of my websites to their proven guidelines that help users engage with a website in the desired way of the owner – in this case help donors know why donating matters and want to give, help moms looking to apply want to do so so they can experience the life change offered by Milagro House and more.
Built to Grow
Milagro House is a vibrant growing nonprofit. This new website is one that can grow with them. Endlessly editable, they can add pages, and elements, and do whatever they need and want to adapt their website to reveal the current work they are doing. To launch, we built their Evening of Miracles and Happenings pages to have professionally designed pages they can use right away to further the reach of their requests for sponsors and attendees to their largest fundraiser of the year. Currently, there are plans to also expand and have an ExtraGive page in the fall and more. Having a website that can grow with the passions and work of your organization is a HUGE asset!
Mobile & Tablet Optimized
Before launch, I comb through each and every page and element to make them all mobile-friendly – customizing everything until it looks exceptional on mobile devices. Most visitors visit on their phone – so having a mobile-friendly website is key in this season so every visitor can engage, connect and donate easily when they come to Milagrohouse.org.
